All our transport on the 'Once in a Lifetime’ Australia and New Zealand tours has been chosen for a reason. Where we have journeys by road, these are taken on luxury coaches with panoramic windows.

To enhance your local experiences, we try whenever possible to use local airlines or national flag carriers. On our Australian tours, we use Qantas to fly around the world. The Qantas story is inextricably linked with the development of civil aviation in Australia and is widely regarded as the world's leading long distance airline.

We use Air New Zealand for our New Zealand tour. The airline receives many industry awards, most recently being voted with ‘Best Passenger Service’ in the prestigious Air Transport World Magazine Awards, and prides itself on its safety record.

The legendary Indian Pacific is an epic rail journey through the magnificent landscapes of Australia's heartland. It combines spectacular scenery with a fine dining experience and first class service. We travel from Perth to Adelaide, enjoying the premium level of Gold Kangaroo Service with inclusive dining.

The Tranz Alpine Train is a fabulous coast-to-coast rail journey from Christchurch to Greymouth. We travel across the Canterbury Plains and snow-capped peaks of the Southern Alps, before descending through lush rainforests to New Zealand’s west coast. We have chosen to cruise Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef onboard the luxury 'Great Adventures' catamaran as we feel this company offers the premier Great Barrier Reef experience. The crew are extra attentive, the vessel is superbly comfortable and its destinations are unrivalled.

We have secured an exclusive charter onboard the elegant 65-foot MV Crystal catamaran to cruise Sydney Harbour. We believe this is the perfect way to experience Sydney’s world-famous harbour and see the iconic sights from a different perspective. Complimentary champagne and canapés are served on board as you watch the scenery pass by.

We have chosen to include a cruise around the Bay of Islands during our stay in New Zealand’s Northland, as this is a truly wonderful experience and a fantastic opportunity to relax and soak up the beauty of the natural surroundings and marine life. The cruise boat we use, MV Ipipiri, has been newly commissioned for this season and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

In Auckland, we have organised an exclusive evening charter cruise around Auckland’s harbour. We enjoy a gourmet dinner of local cuisine before weighing anchor and leisurely cruising the harbour to admire the lights of the city by night.
